ConceptLens ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.

Information We Do NOT Collect

ConceptLens is a fully offline application. We do not collect:

• Your documents, files, or any content you import into the app
• Personal information such as name, email, or contact details
• Usage data, analytics, or behavioral information
• Device identifiers or location data
• Any data that could be used to identify you

Your data never leaves your device.

How the App Works

Local Processing

All features of ConceptLens, including AI-powered question answering, document analysis, and knowledge graph generation, are processed entirely on your device using on-device machine learning models.

Data Storage

Your documents, knowledge bases, and all related data are stored locally on your device in the app's sandboxed storage area. This data is:

• Protected by your device's built-in encryption
• Accessible only to the ConceptLens app
• Backed up to iCloud only if you have enabled iCloud backup for your device (controlled by your device settings, not by us)

AI Models

ConceptLens downloads AI models from trusted sources during initial setup. These models run locally on your device. After download, no internet connection is required to use the app's core features.

Third-Party Services

ConceptLens does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

The app does not contain any third-party SDKs that collect user data.

If you choose to enable the optional cloud API feature (for users who prefer cloud-based AI), you may enter your own API key. In this case, your queries would be processed by that third-party service according to their privacy policy. This is entirely optional and disabled by default.

Data Security

We implement security best practices to protect your data:

• All data is stored within iOS/macOS app sandbox
• Data is protected by Apple's device encryption
• No network transmission of your personal documents
• No external servers or databases

Your Rights

Since we don't collect your data, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are managed directly by you on your device:

• Access: All your data is stored locally and accessible through the app
• Deletion: Delete any knowledge base or document directly in the app, or uninstall the app to remove all data
• Portability: Export your data using the app's export features

Children's Privacy

ConceptLens does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since we do not collect personal information from any users, this includes children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
